African American women have been exploited for centuries. Lately, there has been an uprise of human trafficking cases targeting women and girls of color. Exploitation is not limited to human trafficking. Exploitation also comes from numerous industries that use the anatomy of women to gain clout and monetary value. The reason this woman has no face is that when you see women being exploited daily you don't care about her face anyway. The fact she is someone's daughter, sister, niece, aunt, mother, etc. doesn't matter. She is a goddess and she is powerful no matter how this world may attempt to tear her down.
